Beginner fish
Below is a list of good beginner fish, divided in several categories!

Below is a list of fish that are often recommended, but actually require
a bit of experience, and are not recommended by this site, with a short
explanation.
| Dwarf gouramie | Requires a properly setup tank, with higher temperatures. | If given the right environment, these fish are easy. They are not recommended because all fish in stores are sick when you buy them. |
| Loaches(clown loach) | Require large tanks with proper care! | Loaches cannot stand most disease treatments. They should be kept in groups of 6. Clown loaches require 5 ft. tanks! |
